Run out of your house, put your feet on the pedal and accelerate, let’s ride the world. Cycling could be an amusing activity for your summer days in Belgium. Here we come up with a new destination for your travelogue i.e “Damme”.
One of the favorite ways of exploring a new city is to hop on two wheels and set out. If you haven’t heard of Damme all you are just curious to see then I must say it is worth a visit.
Cycling from Bruges to Damme is a fantastic way to see some of the classic Belgium countryside without travelling too far from the main city. The best thing is Damme is only 20 minutes North-East from Bruges. The ride is mostly straight, easy and flat making it almost impossible to get lost along the way. Damme is a lovely place without that much crowd. It’s super easy to cycle to Damme, you just need to head toward the northeast part of the city and follow the bicycle path on the left side of the canal from the Sasplein until you reach Damme.
After lockdown nations mull a gradual approach to relax and allow more people to step out for work, promoting cycling and walking is emerging as a key strategy in a coronavirus affected world, advocating cycling and walking overcrowded public transports to limit physical contact during the pandemic.
In this scenario, a bicycle – a regular or electric one — provides a very viable alternative to travel small and moderate distances. Promoting biking to work will allow us to safely travel our routes without coming in contact with multiple people. When a significant number of people take to bikes, it will also help reduce crowds on public transport systems.
Hence cycling and amazing activity to adjust in this new normal world and cycling and exploring Damme guddi about full experience for your entire life!
Be healthy and keep cycling!
