was first discovered in French. It a french tart that has a thin crust of Pastry and filling in it. Traditionally it is filled with Custard, cheese, meat, seafood, or veggies. In the vegetarian Spinach is the most commonly used vegetable.

The word was first found in French in 1805, and in 1605 in Lorrain Patois. It is also connected to Belgium somehow. Lorraine is a place in France. Lorrain is the language spoken by the people of this region and also in Alsace and Gaume in Belgium.

So somehow I found the connection of the Quiche to Belgium .

Though English Cuisine is famous for Pastry where they filled it with cream and eggs is still known as a French Dish or French Tart.

Here I am sharing the recipe for Traditional Vegetarian Quiche using Spinach. You can also make Mini Quiche as a starter and also with something sweet as a dessert.
