The word Waffle derived directly from the Dutch WAFEL. This was the beginning and then later on it has many other words in different languages. The history of Waffle is very long. It is nothing sure from where it started but today it is considered as one of the most popular dishes of Belgium.

In Belgium, Liège waffles, the most popular contemporary Belgian waffle variety. It was rumored to have been invented during the 18th century by the chef to the prince-bishop of Liège. The waffles were popularly known as “The Liege Waffles”.

So I also tried making it with the flavor of Mango. For all the mango lovers this is like heaven. I loved it.

So I took Mango Ras or Mango milkshake for the flour .

First I am sharing the basic recipe and then I will say where to add Mango and how ?

Method :

1. First is big bowl to mix everything .

2. Put butter and sugar in it and whisk it well .

3. Add Milk and Vanilla essence and whisk it well again until it is very smooth .

4. Add self- rising flour , baking powder and salt . Whisk the mixer very well until it turns into a smooth paste.

5. Heat the waffle machine and grease butter on it .

6. Pour the mixer in it and allow it to cook until it turns golden brown .

7. Serve it warm with Chocolate, Nutella, strawberries, maple syrup, ice cream, whipped cream, or anything of your choice.

I love all of these combinations.

And now talking about the twist of Mango

Between the step 3 and 4

You can add Mango Juice or Milkshake and adjust the consistency of the batter. It should remain thick. You can choose the quantity of Mango juice according to your taste. Just be careful about the consistency.

After this you can follow the step 5 and serve it warm with pieces of mango and cream .
