Air or cruise put a large number of people, often from countries around the world, in frequent and close contact with each other. This can promote the spread of respiratory viruses, such as Coronavirus.
Precautions while travelling during the spread of the pademic coronavirus:
Avoiding the highly affected area:
- It is not mandatory to cancel or postpone your trip due to the fear of adopting the symptoms of Coronavirus, but yes avoiding the trip to high-risk areas is much more advisable. Countries considered as the high-risk areas are:
- China
- South Korea
- Philippines
- Switzerland
- Germany
- Iran
- Japan
- Italy
Travelling by aeroplane
- If you are a traveller travelling by an air route then it is much more preferable to avoid the close contact with the infected person or touching a contaminated surface like a berth used by an infected person or any other objects.
- While using the aircraft’s washroom it’s advisable to use sanitizers with 70-95 percentage of alcoholic base and wash your hands up till 20 to 30 seconds.
- Refrain yourself from touching your eyes, nose and mouth before eating food or after shaking hands with other travellers.
- While travelling if you or any other passenger with you is found suffering from fever, cold or sneezing frequently then immediately take a step towards humanity and inform the medical crew available in the aircraft.
Carry your own things
- Avoid using blankets, pillows, grooming kits, any entertainment kit or children’s kit provided on the aircraft instead of carrying your own kits & use your clean & hygienic pillows and blankets.
- keep face mask, hand gloves, sanitary kit, sanitizers accept along with you while travelling a long distance.
