Ninglinspo River Hike is one of the most elegant hikes in the Belgian Ardennes. The trail drives you alongside the mountain river of the Ninglinspo, throughout the astonishing scenery around Aywaille in the Liège province. A true must hike when visiting the Ardennes. The Ning-lin-so is the only Belgian mountain river which every hiker should try at least once. Innumerable small waterfalls flow into as many small basins weathering sing-songs.

The shortest route is 8 km, but you can easily make it 12 km or even 21 km. The choice is yours! The departure point for the Ninglinspo is somewhere between Remouchamps and Stoumont, in a village called Sandoz. One step ahead and then your adventure begins. The region around Aywaille and Remouchamps is one of the favorite spots in Wallonia; an extremely green and the hills provide the landscape with that extra whiff. - Raising challenges
Though Niglinspo is a small river but never to forget it’s an adequate mountain river. Hence, alongside the river, you will find many water-basins. These basins add excitement in your journey. The walking path along the Hoëgne is equipped with numerous platforms, steps, railings and plank roads. Everywhere you see waterfalls, small lakes and rapids.

Even you can take a short break at the Drouet viewpoint. There is also a bar where you can have some Belgian taste.
