The summer walks take us to the beautiful valleys of the Ninglinspo river. The exceptional Cascade la chaudiere gives a perfect rejoice with nature. Here the Ninglinspo flows through the undergrowth winding, between the block of stones. Here you are cut off from the world, in the presence of one of the rare torrents in Belgium, the walk will take you from waterfall to waterfall. It is a perfectly preserved site, still very wild at places. This site has served as a filming location in numerous films. Which makes it simply a picture-perfect place. Here the trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips.

Moving forward along the banks of Ninglinspo the altitude plate shows us the altitude of 185 m at this place, it is named Cascade de la Chaudière.

The Cascade la Chaudière is an impressive set of segmented waterfalls a walk of 9.1 km-trail to discover In Aywaille, Liège, Walloon Region. This hike is offered by Fiquet2011. According to the literature, the word Chaudière meant “water boiler” and evidently this was due to the haze that the falls would induce at its footing. One thing that makes your waterfalling experience here absolutely different from the other waterfalls is that you can visit the charming Sougné-Remouchamps. The Cascade la Chaudière is said to represent the conclusive vital drop of the  9.1km of Ninglinspo River just before emptying into the Amblève River.

Route Guide:

A route map will be your real friend and guide here. Your trail begins from a car park near the Entrance. From there, you will get your first glimpse of Cascade la Chaudière. The whole hiking path is well marked with waymarks here you need to choose which path is to be selected.

The shortest hiking route is 6 km while can easily make it around 13 km. Even you can use the GPS or Navigator to reach your favorite spot either. It’s a touristy place if you’re getting confused with your route maps and signs you can, of course, follow the footprints of your fellow hikers.

Challenging Path:

The work of the Ninglinspo stream whose sinuous course of 3,500 meters with an average slope of 7.5% and the Boucle de la Cascade de la Chaudière et Bain d’ Hermes is a 4.7-kilometer loop trail. This hike crosses the wood before descending to the waterfall. The path then crosses the Ninglinspo stream and runs along with it.

The walking path along the Ninglinspo is equipped with numerous platforms, steps, railings, and plank roads. This wild valley gives rise to many baths, geological curiosities whose names all invite you to dream. The uphill path is moderately difficult. However, after reaching your destination the glorious views from the top are worth all the difficulties.

Scenic Elegance:

The spring foliage surrounding the area makes a colorful scene. This waterfall will be best photographed during the sunny afternoons. It is one of the most beautiful valleys in Wallonia, dotted with gigantic rocks, natural slides and pots dug with the force of the torrent.

Looking downstream from the top, you will see a number of waterfalls gurgling water to their fellow rocks and other falls. As if nature is in play full mood and rejoicing the water booms. Altogether you can have a leisurely stroll of 2 to 3 hours here with your family and friends. In the end, you can swim in the down pool and relish your moments. You will surely enjoy the panoramic views here with pleasant water music.
