This turns out to be a good attraction for the tourists, and the image itself is very nicely made of this physicist working in nature on a bench. Just next door is the building of the former restaurant “Coeur Volante,” where he met a few celebrities during his stay in De Haan in 1933. That time he lived in the nearby villa Savoyarde where a memorial can be seen on the façade and his portrait on the window on the first floor.  This place could be considered as the best for your Instagram selfies.

Here is a good excuse to take a walk along the beach, following the coast to the right from de Haan, in the direction of Blankenberge. Wenduine Spioenkop – the red-roofed pavilion is located on the second-highest dune on the Belgian coast, which is about 31 meters high. It was used as an outlook post by Napoleon and later by the nazis. The Rotunda with screen offers you a lovely view over the North sea when the weather is clear one can see Ostend and even the ancient Unesco heritage towers of  Bruges. A sacred place for the many sun lovers, walkers, anglers, families with children.

The blond version Coast 8410 Blond is managed to get a lot of ‘fraîcheur’ in the beer. Tasty fruity notes of citrus and grapefruit, nice full-bodied bitterness, and a slightly hoppy accent characterize the excellent taste. A beautiful and full head of foam makes the beer complete. An ideal thirst quencher.

The dark version Coast 8410 Dark is a classically constructed Belgian Dark Ale. Slightly smoky and roasted notes, traces of liquorice and caramel turning into a soft bitterness.

You can enjoy the coastal view with the coastal Belgium beer.
