Fruit picking could be an ideal activity for your sunny summers. The combination of this beautiful orchards with fruity smells creates a simply perfect atmosphere to cheer up your mood and have fun. Here you can learn about every aspect of fruit growing, from planting and harvesting to storing and sorting. In April you can come and admire the blossoms during their open days or nocturne walks. The blossoms are pollinated by their own bees which produce the most delicious honey. A tour lasts 1.5 hours and at the end, every visitor receives a fruit package and an apple juice. In all time here you will be accompanied by the fruity smell and buzzing sounds of bees. The Haspengouw is an area of Belgium that is renowned for its fruit industry. About 75% of Belgian fruit originates from this fairly small area.

You can visit here in harvesting seasons, all the fields are covered with apple and pear trees, absolutely dripping with fruit. There must be millions of trees here. The Verger du Bout de l’Allée in Neufchâteau opens its doors for five days every year in October. Apple picking is one of the favorite autumnal activities. Not only because you love orchards and their layout, but it’s just pure fun! You can go around rows and rows of apple trees, picking different sorts of apples and pears.

This specific orchard has several different varieties of apples and they actively focus on growing older and more rustic varieties. You won’t find apples at a better price anywhere else and they are so much more flavorful as well! Apple picking is like a group activity and you can enjoy this activity with your families and pals. At the end of the day you will have the big baskets full of apples and pears ready for your delicious apple and pear pies.

Fruit Time is an orchard in Anderlecht, Belgium. Come and pick your strawberries (June), raspberries (July, August, September), flowers and other small red fruits.  Orchard  is full of fruits in the entire year. It’s mostly popular for its strawberries and raspberries. Fruits here are very juicy and orchards are very friendly.

They have a communication framework that shows the ripping time for the different red fruits there.

They also provide fruit beers and other courses. You can spend a few hours there and have good fun with your kids and enjoy nature.  Highly recommended.

Families with children, a couple of teenagers, an elderly couple. On Saturdays, especially when the weather is nice, it’s quite busy at Purfruit. It has a cozy setting to pick delicious organic fruit! Once you come here, you no longer want blueberries and strawberries from the supermarket, these are so much better. From June till September there are deliciously ripe raspberries, currants (black and white), cassis, gooseberries, and rhubarb just begging to be picked. You can read their frameworks for berry picking and offers of the day. There are friendly people and afterwards, you have the option of a drink in the bar. Top!

Petitsfruits is a lost place that deserves to be rediscovered. If you want some fruits and fruits to replant? Then this is the place for you. P’tits Fruits d’Ici is an orchard and nursery located between Lens and Soignies. It offers blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, red currants, gooseberries, physalis fresh, organic and seasonal. It’s a great place to spend your weekends! A very crowded orchard not with humans but with berries! You will surely enjoy being here and would be waiting for the second arrival at this place. Once you are in the nearby area then the  fruity smell of strawberries will drag you here!  A highly recommended place.

Blueberry Fields, Schomstraat 147, 3582 Beringen, Belgium.

Ripe, local blueberries are one of the joys of summer. Upon arrival at the Blueberry Fields domain, you’ve to get registered first and then adventure begins. You will receive a cover with directions to your “piece of Blueberry Fields” in the form of a photo search. Just one step in and  you’ll encounter the delicious views of blueberries surrounding you. You will receive plastic buckets and you will be told to follow the signs to the pick-your-own field. Even it has a beautiful area for walking. You can spend your weekends at its best here while wandering in the farms and munching while sitting in midst of blueberries.
