Laforêt- Loving It

Settled down in a green environment along the Semois river, Laforêt kept its traditional atmosphere and rich cultural heritage. Still enclosed by woods, the village is loosely centered around the church. Two streets extend from the high and low water basins, all under one name, rue Saite Agathe. This fascinating village still had its drinking troughs, washhouses, and even tobacco dryers. Far from main roads, the village is an excellent place to let the kids wander about freely. Here and in Vresse-Sur-Semois, all within walking distance, you will discover delightful places to take a meal or a drink you will remember.
