Park Den Brandt is positioned just a few km from Antwerp. This Park is a must-visit in all the Seasons however autumn makes it marvellous. It is a quieter park along with large paths, a castle, a lovely pond with ducks and swans and many bridges everywhere. Dating back to 1911 and has a very romantic atmosphere.
The only place that hosts functions is the castle in the middle of the park.
You will find a replica of the statue of David in the park. You will be surprised to find a bunker museum. Unfortunately, it is temporarily closed due to the pandemic. Right next to the chapel there is a picking garden, which has fruits and aromatic herbs. It’s a perfect place to sit under the tree during the fall and munch your snacks. Park Den Brandt is a lovely, peaceful park, just a short walk from the Nachtegalen park.

Fort 5, in Edegem a few km from Antwerp is much more than a park.
It is very vast and it will allow you to walk and get lost among its trees. A place for all the seasons especially for autumn. It is a perfect combination of natural beauty with a touch of history. It was a military domain which played a key role during world war I and II. It is a natural reservoir for numerous types of animals, particularly for bats. Fort 5 has a wonderful playground for children too, a pond full of ducks and birds and many amazing bars. It is a truly remarkable spot, for walking, biking, playing and meditating. River Scheldt reveals varied colours during autumn. If you have visited this river priorly then you should undoubtedly visit it again during fall as you will surely experience something new and incredible. The Havenroute is an approximately 50-kilometre-long sightseeing tour of the port area. The tour heads past the 17th-century. At Lillo, there is a choice between driving on to inspect the huge Berendrechtsluis, the world’s largest lock, or shortening the tour by turning round and following the Havenroute south again towards Antwerp, via the Frans Tijsmanstunnel beneath the Kanaaldok. Antwerp’s fall makes this place more beautiful.
