A 40-ft. mock river with sixteen aquariums will show you the fish in rivers. You just need to stop and look! On request, you can take part in many nature and fishing activities which are an excellent, fun-packed way to discover the surprising treasures and the amazing biodiversity of our rivers. This place is the complete bundle of joy and acknowledgment.

The Castle Farm of NY

The Castle Farm of Ny is an incredible place.  Most of this registered quadrangular building made of limestone was constructed in the second half of the 17th century. Initially, it was safeguarded by a moat. In the middle of the building confronting the village, the courtyard can be accessed by the unique gated doorway, conserved by a three-story tower.

As this farm is still functional it is private property, be certain to plan your stop during the yearly medieval competition, reenacted by knights and dancers. This building, among some other treasures, crowns millennia of agricultural tradition. A place is sure to visit. 

Grottes De Hotton 

Grottes De Hotton is an extraordinary architecture of NY. Located in the province of Luxembourg is part of Wallonia’s protected natural heritage which is a real geological gem. Since 2000, a route that’s three times extended and two times deeper has made it feasible to see the tremendous variation of shapes and colours within the caves.

You can travel down 65 m to explore an underground river and go up 30 m on foot and 35 m in the lift. You can explore an extraordinary maze of galleries. Look like a 30 meters deep sinkhole which is wowed by precarious curtains made of stone, the wonderful shapes and colors of the concretions around listen to the “river with no name”. Hear the roaring of the torrent and experience all the emotions of the underground world with our guides. A perfect place for you to discover.

Fountains

The village of Ny owes its magnificence blend of Water and Stone. It’s a water-rich location, the village is speckled with streams and limestone rubble masonry fountains lining the leading street, which is generally called Rue des Fontaines. An excellent example of this is the fountains leaning against the wall of the neo-gothic church, connecting a finely-built limestone presbytery and church. The council doesn’t guarantee that the water is safe to drink and has even reinforced a ‘not drinking water’ sign, but the villagers still come here to fill their bottles as they always have. It’s a perfect architecture to grab your attention and leave you wondering about this unusual heritage.

La Grande Cure

The hotel is erected with natural stone and wood, the interior is contemporary but comfortable. From the terrace, there is a wonderful view across the valley to the chapel of St. Thibaut. In the lounge, you will disclose cosiness at the open fire during the dark seasons. Their restaurant is often applauded for its gourmet cuisine. There is no à la carte’, they amaze their guests every day with a different menu.
