AppleMint Protein Smoothie

1 small apple

A handful mint leaves

1 scoop plant protein powder

Water to blend.

Add the chopped apple and mint to the blender with some water and blitz till it’s coarse.

Add the plant protein powder to the blender and blend till it’s nice and smooth.

Add water if needed. I use strawberry-flavored vegan plant protein powder for my smoothies but you can also use any other plant-based versions. Add maple syrup if you prefer it sweet. 

Be rest assured that a detoxification is not something to fear and it can be the most pleasant and relaxing experience. The way the mind and body work together is amazing. Giving birth is a very sacred and soulful experience. Make the most of this for yourself and your partner. Instead of making it a stressful experience by over exerting yourself with information, take it easy on yourself and ask your health care provider for any doubts you have instead of making google your doctor!!

Read good books and blogs on preparation for pregnancy. Plan your months and keep a checklist for all the items you think you may need. It is surprising how many things can slip out of the mind once you deliver a child. 

Last but not least, tell yourself every night before you sleep that you are prepared and ready to have a healthy and happy baby.
