Stuffed Mushrooms – Quick recipe

When you talk about the autumn vegetables how can you miss out on the mushrooms.

The Health benefits of Mushrooms :

Mushrooms are a low-calorie food that is loaded with Vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Mushrooms raised with ultraviolet light are a very good source of Vitamin – D, which is very important for bone and immune health.

According to one study , it can really help you to loose weight if you combine it with good diet and workout .

Here I am sharing one very quick recipe of Mushrooms which is being loved by everyone whenever I have tried it. It has always proved as the best starter or a side dish.

Ingredients :

1.White Big Mushrooms Agaricus Bisporus (you can decide how many you want )

2. Spinach for filling(washed and small chopped )

3. Butter

4. Garlic – small chopped 

5. Onions 

6. Cheese cream – I use Philadelphia 

7. Salt 

8. oregano and pepper 

9. Cheese 

How to Prepare the Stuffed Mushrooms 

1. I always wash the mushrooms before using them. Just allow it to dry.

2. Scoop out the stalk from the mushrooms and put it on the side. 

3. Take a pan, put it on a slow flame, and add butter to it. Let it warm for a minute then add onions to it, saute the onions for a minute.

4. Add Chopped spinach and cook it until it becomes soft. Add Salt into it according to your taste. 

5. After mixing it properly and cooking it well, put it on the side. Allow it to cool. 

6. Meanwhile, keep the mushrooms ready for filling. 

7. Once the spinach mixture is at room temperature, add Philadephia cheese cream( I like one with garlic flavor)into it. 

Mix it very well.

8. Take the mushrooms and rub them with olive oil and fill them with the spinach mixture. Sprinkle cheese, oregano, and pepper 

9. Put them on the Baking tray. Keep the oven ready by preheating it for 5 to 10 mins. 

10 .Bake them until the mushrooms become a little brown.

11. Serve it warm.
